Road and lane closures are planned across Mid Ulster over the coming weeks, with works by utility companies and the Department for Infrastructure likely to cause delays and diversions.

The longest-lasting disruption is on the A45 Coalisland Road near Derrywinnen, where a lane closure will be in operation until 16 October from a point 100 metres west of the Killymeal Road junction to Lisdhu Road. The closure is required to create a right-turn pocket for the Edendork Primary School scheme. Traffic control measures will be in place.

In Cookstown, the C0567 Ballybriest Road is closed from 20 July until 14 August for NI Water capital works. A signed diversion is available and delays are expected.

A lane closure on the B43 Pomeroy Road in Dungannon will be in effect on 29 July for BT Openreach work, with traffic control operating.

The A29 Ranfurly Road in Dungannon has a one-way closure between the Killyman Road and Wellington Road junctions, operating daily until 2 August. The works, carried out by Evolve, are for installation of new gas mains. A diversion route will be signed.

Several other closures are scheduled to last until 31 July. On the C0622 Sandholes Road in Cookstown, a lane closure is in place with traffic control. The B0073 Main Street in Cookstown is closed and a diversion is operating. Daily lane closures continue on the B161 Mountjoy Road at Clonoe for carriageway patching by the Department for Infrastructure. In Maghera, the C0551 Slaghtneill Road is closed with a diversion. The B160 Coagh Road in Dungannon is also shut.
