The 2026 Fleadh Thír Eoghain takes place in Ballygawley from June 19 to June 21. The event will feature competitions in traditional music, song, and dance, with successful participants qualifying for the Ulster Fleadh in Warrenpoint (July 19-26) and the Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann in Belfast (August 2-9).

Clogher Valley CCÉ hosts this year's county fleadh as the branch marks its 50th anniversary. The organisation has promoted Irish traditional culture in the area for five decades.

The fleadh coincides with the 75th anniversary of Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, the national body dedicated to preserving Irish music, song, dance, and language.

In the week before the competitions, a series of events will take place, including a youth seisiún, an Irish conversation coffee morning, and a daytime Comhaltas event (Comhaltas sa Lá).

The official launch is scheduled for Friday June 19 at 7.30pm in St Ciaran's College, Ballygawley. Special guests are expected to attend.

Competitions will be held across the weekend, drawing young participants from branches throughout the county.
