Lidl announces June opening for £9m Rushmere store
A new Lidl supermarket in Craigavon, representing an investment of £9 million, will open on June 18 at 8am. The store will create 40 jobs.
The 26,673 sq ft outlet at Rushmere Shopping Centre occupies the site of a former Sainsbury’s service station. It replaces Lidl’s smaller branch on Balteagh Road near Highfield.
The development features 127 parking spaces and electric vehicle charging points. To mark the opening, the store is offering £50 in shopping vouchers.
Access will be from Lakeview Road or via the shopping centre, with the exit onto Central Way.
