Two men charged after Crumlin Road altercation
Two men are to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court next month in connection with a violent incident on the Crumlin Road.
Police responded to reports of a serious altercation in the early hours of Friday June 5.
A 44-year-old man has been charged with possessing an article with a blade or point in a public place, criminal damage, possessing an offensive weapon, common assault and disorderly behaviour.
A second man, aged 46, faces charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence.
The court date is set for Friday July 3. As is standard, the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
