Police charged a 35-year-old man in connection with a stabbing in north Belfast. The incident took place on Thursday, 26 March.

The man faces charges of wounding with intent to do grievous bodily harm. He also faces charges of possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence. A further charge is disorderly behaviour.

He appeared before Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Saturday, 28 March. The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as standard procedure.
