A Reformer Pilates studio in Portadown is offering a free class to Blue Light card holders during the first week of June.

PWRHOUSE Pilates opened its first dedicated Reformer Pilates studio in Lurgan in December 2024. Owner Emma Haughian launched a second location on Meadows Lane in Portadown in April 2026, close to the Portadown Health Centre and Craigavon Area Hospital.

From 1 to 8 June, valid Blue Light Card holders can book a complimentary session at the Portadown studio, subject to availability. Bookings can be made through the studio's social media channels or by emailing hello@thisispwrhouse.com.

The promotion was prompted by the large number of healthcare and emergency workers who attend classes, often before or after shifts. One member, Dr Laura Williamson, an emergency department consultant, said reformer Pilates has improved her physical and mental wellbeing and she welcomes the offer.

Ms Haughian said reformer Pilates is accessible to all fitness levels and ages, with clients ranging from 16 to 76 years old. The studio also offers hot Pilates and hot yoga in an infrared heated studio. An introductory package of two classes for £20 is available for new clients.

The business continues to operate its original Lurgan location.
