Fermanagh GAA has launched a 64-page strategic plan that prioritises coaching development and player pathways.

The plan calls for every club team to have at least one Level One accredited coach and introduces an annual coaching conference.

Fermanagh GAA will run coaching workshops to upskill teachers and strengthen connections between schools, clubs and county teams.

A Football Review and Performance Workgroup has been formed to examine club and inter-county football structures.

Winter underage activity programmes will be expanded with greater use of 4G pitches and indoor facilities.

A Former Player Ambassador Programme will also be created to support county identity.

County officials noted that smaller clubs face difficulties in recruiting qualified coaches and sustaining underage teams due to rural geography and population decline.
