Fermanagh GAA Unveils Five-Year Strategy and Online Progress Tracker
Fermanagh GAA has launched an online tracker to allow the public to monitor progress on its newly unveiled five-year strategic plan, titled Building from the Ground Up. The tracker is available on the county website and provides regular updates on actions and objectives across coaching, club sustainability, governance, facilities, and community wellbeing.
The strategy, covering 2026 to 2030, was developed following consultation with clubs, players, coaches, and volunteers. It sets out priorities including strengthening coaching structures, supporting volunteers, and investing in infrastructure.
A major project identified in the plan is the multi-million-pound development of Ashwoods into a modern county hub. Fermanagh GAA described this as a central element of its long-term vision.
Other initiatives outlined in the strategy include the formation of a Football Review and Performance Workgroup, a county-wide volunteer strategy, and measures to improve referee recruitment and retention.
Officials said the online tracker is intended to ensure transparency and accountability during the implementation phase. The plan was officially launched at the Ardhowen Theatre, with more than 200 club members attending. A recording of the event is available on the Fermanagh GAA YouTube channel.
