ANTRIM (sitting in Ballymena): A 42-year-old man from Toomebridge, charged with stabbing a woman in the leg with scissors, non-fatal asphyxiation with a cushion, threatening to kill her, and criminal damage to her vehicle, has had his case sent to Antrim Crown Court for arraignment on June 23. He was granted continuing bail of £500.

ARDS: A 26-year-old woman previously convicted of shoplifting goods worth over £500 from Forestside while in possession of pregabalin had her community service element revoked after a court accepted she had co-operated fully with probation services. District Judge Amanda Brady re-sentenced her to six months probation in place of the community service.
