Around 60 bands are scheduled to take part in a parade in Coleraine on Saturday evening.

Hosted by Pride of the Bann Flute Band, the event is expected to involve approximately 2,000 participants.

The parade will assemble at 7pm at the Station car park, Railway Place, before proceeding through Railway Road, Kingsgate Street, Long Commons, Newmarket Street, New Row, Church Street, The Diamond, Bridge Street, Old Bridge, Strand Road, Slip Road, Killowen Street, Waterside, Circular Road, Millburn Road, Union Street, Station Gates and Ballycastle Road.

Roads in the town centre will be closed between 8pm and 11pm, with traffic diversions in place. Emergency service vehicles will be permitted through the area.

Police will be present to manage traffic and public safety. The event is due to finish at approximately 11pm.

Motorists have been advised to allow extra time or use alternative routes to avoid delays.
