Traffic disruption expected as parades planned across Causeway Coast and Glens
Motorists planning to travel through Causeway Coast and Glens on Wednesday 1 July are being advised to expect delays because of a number of planned parades.
The Police Service of Northern Ireland said larger events will take place in the town centres of Coleraine, Limavady, Garvagh and Cloughmills, where significant numbers of participants and spectators are anticipated.
In Coleraine, a traffic management system will operate from approximately 6.30pm until 10pm, covering the duration of the parade.
The Limavady parade will start at 8pm and finish around 10.45pm, while the Garvagh event runs from 7.50pm until about 9pm. The Cloughmills parade will begin at 8.30pm and end at approximately 9.25pm.
Local officers will be on the ground to manage diversions and maintain access for residents. Those not attending the parades are urged to find alternative routes to avoid congestion.
