A 29-year-old man appeared in Limavady Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, April 29, charged with causing death by dangerous driving and other offences after a two-vehicle collision in Nutts Corner, Co Antrim.

The crash occurred just before 8am on Sunday, April 26, involving a black Volkswagen Golf and a silver Volkswagen Passat. Callum Hutchinson, a 16-year-old from Tipperary, died at the scene.

Two others sustained injuries. Christopher Faulkner, aged 10, remains in critical condition in hospital. The Passat driver had minor injuries.

Police arrested the Golf driver on suspicion of motoring offences. The Collision Investigation Unit requested witnesses or digital footage, quoting reference 348 of 26/04/26, and contactable on 101.

The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as standard procedure.
