Five people required hospital treatment after a collision between a VW Golf and a Mazda on Crankill Road in Ballymena.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland received the report at approximately 5.50pm on 23 May. Officers attended along with the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service and the Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service.

The road was closed for a period after the incident but has since reopened.

Police have appealed for witnesses and any dash-cam or other footage. Information can be given by calling 101 and quoting reference 1263 of 23/05/26, via the non-emergency online form, or anonymously through Crimestoppers.

The incident took place in County Antrim.
