The £1.9 million Creenagh Bridge replacement and carriageway works near Coalisland will reopen at 4pm on April 30, ahead of the original summer schedule.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins made the announcement. The project started in September last year on the A45 Ballynakilly Road between Coalisland and the M1 Motorway.

The works include bridge replacement and road realignment. Kimmins stated that these changes improve safety for pedestrians and road users.

The project supports heavy goods vehicle movement and enhances commercial connectivity in the area. It also features a 270-metre Active Travel footway linking to Ballynakilly Road.

Kimmins noted that the investment delivers benefits for residents and road users passing through the area.
