The A34 Moorlough Road in Lisnaskea requires a daily closure for resurfacing works. Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins announced the £235,000 project in February to upgrade the local road network.

Works run from Monday, 2 March 2026, to Friday, 13 March 2026, subject to weather. The affected stretch spans from Castlebalfour Road at the former barracks site to Crom Road.

Closures occur each weekday from 9.30am to 4.30pm. Local access remains open for residents and businesses where feasible.

Signed diversion routes guide traffic from Lisnaskea in both directions. Heavy goods vehicle operators must use the designated path, as nearby rural roads lack suitability for such traffic.

Kimmins stated the investment supports road users and links businesses with communities. Authorities expect some delays and urge extra travel time.

The project targets better driving conditions and safety on this key route in Fermanagh.
