One hundred six pupils received the Sacrament of Confirmation at St John the Baptist Church in Portadown. The event filled the church to standing room only capacity.

Participants included P7 pupils from Ballyoran Primary School. Pupils under Mrs Breen from St John the Baptist Primary School took part. Pupils under Mr Quinn from the same school also received the sacrament.

Pupils from Presentation Primary School joined the confirmation. The ceremony occurred on Saturday at the church.
