A 32-year-old man will appear at Omagh Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, 14th April, after police seized drugs in Mid Ulster.

The seizures took place in Moneymore and Cookstown on Monday, 13th April. The man faces charges of possessing Class A and Class B controlled drugs. He also faces charges of possessing those drugs with intent to supply and holding counterfeit currency.

Police in Mid Ulster carried out the operation. The Public Prosecution Service will review all charges as standard procedure.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the investigation. She faced suspicion of possessing Class A and Class B controlled drugs and possessing those drugs with intent to supply. She also faced suspicion of possessing criminal property.

The woman has been released on bail for further police enquiries.
