Two Men Charged After £100,000 Drugs Seizure in Londonderry
Police in Londonderry recovered suspected Class A and Class B controlled drugs with an estimated street value of £100,000 on March 18.
Two men, aged 53 and 29, were arrested as part of the ongoing investigation and held in custody.
The men face charges including possession of Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply.
They are due to appear at Londonderry Magistrates’ Court on March 20.
The Public Prosecution Service will review the charges.
Derry City and Strabane Inspector Ian Ferriby stated that such seizures limit damage from drug supply and use. He noted that drug suppliers seek profit regardless of harm to communities. Ferriby urged reports of drug activity to police on 101 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
