Police in Derry have charged an 18-year-old man with drug offences after seizing suspected controlled substances in the cityside area on Monday 6 July.

The charges include criminal damage, possession of a Class A drug, being concerned in the supply of a Class A drug, possession of a Class B drug and being concerned in the supply of a Class B drug.

The man is due to appear before Londonderry Magistrates Court on Tuesday 7 July.

As is standard procedure, the Public Prosecution Service will review all charges.
