Two people required hospital treatment after a collision between a car and a van in Scarva. The incident occurred at the junction of Auglish Road and Mullaghglass Road on Friday, April 10.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 2.53pm reporting the road traffic collision in the Station Road area. Crews dispatched two emergency ambulances, a rapid response paramedic, and the charity air ambulance with helicopter emergency medical service personnel.

One patient travelled by ambulance to Craigavon Area Hospital. The second patient went to the Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast by air ambulance.

Firefighters attended the scene. They ensured safety after finding all vehicle occupants already outside. Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service crews completed their work by 3.39pm.

Police closed Auglish Road in both directions at Station Road. Diversions directed motorists away from the area.
