Martin McCarney, 45, remains in custody following his court appearance in Enniskillen Magistrates Court. He faces charges of murdering 23-year-old Ellie Flanagan on March 7 in Enniskillen. McCarney also faces a charge of possessing three knives with intent to commit an offence.

No bail application was made during the Tuesday hearing. The case adjourned until June.

Authorities withdrew separate charges against McCarney related to theft and fraud at the hearing.
