Police in Enniskillen seized a scrambler bike after observing it driven at speed on a public road. The incident occurred on Saturday in the Cornagrade area.

A PSNI spokesperson stated that the force received multiple reports from residents about scramblers driven recklessly in parts of the town.

Officers conducted patrols over the weekend to address these complaints. The rider wore no safety equipment and was identified at the scene.

The rider faces a court appearance. Police noted that many scramblers fail to meet construction and use regulations or vehicle safety standards.

Such vehicles are limited to off-road use on private land with landowner permission. They cannot be driven on pavements roads public property or parks.

Legal operation requires insurance and safety equipment. The PSNI asked residents to report illegal and dangerous bike use to improve road and park safety.
