A serious road traffic collision occurred on Ardoyne Avenue in north Belfast on March 24. Police closed the road and advised the public to avoid the area.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland stated that the closure would remain in place for some time.

The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service responded to a 999 call at 14:27. Responders included two emergency ambulances, one HART team, a paramedic, and an ambulance officer. A HEMS crew attended by car.

No patients were transported from the scene.
