Infrastructure officials plan to survey Queen Elizabeth Road in Enniskillen to check if a pedestrian crossing is needed. The road connects Cornagrade Road to the Jobs and Benefits Office.

Sinn Féin MLA Jemma Dolan requested a feasibility study for the crossing during proceedings at Stormont.

Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins stated the site had not been formally assessed before.

Officials will count vehicles and pedestrians at the location to see if it meets criteria for a controlled crossing.

The survey results will decide if the proposal advances.
