Police arrested two men in connection with shots fired at a house in Newry's Damolly Village area. The incident occurred at around 9.15pm on Monday, March 16. Two shots went through the windows of the property.

Occupants inside the house at the time suffered no physical injuries.

Officers from the Armed Response Unit stopped a vehicle on High Street in Portadown on Saturday, March 21. They arrested the two men on suspicion of several offences.

Both men have been released on bail while enquiries continue.

Detectives asked for information from anyone who noticed suspicious activity in Damolly Village around the time of the incident. They requested any CCTV, doorbell or dash-cam footage.
