Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended a car fire on Kennedy Way in Belfast. The incident occurred heading from the motorway towards Andersontown Road.

One appliance from Cadogan Station responded to the blaze. Fire service personnel remained at the scene while the fire was brought under control.

Traffic reduced to one lane in each direction during the response. Traffic Watch NI listed the road as passable.

The incident has since cleared. Drivers in the area should exercise caution.
