Police launched an investigation into an arson attack at a car sales business on Killylea Road in Armagh. The fire started around 4am on Friday, March 6.

A report came in at 4.10am of several cars ablaze at the site. Officers from the Police Service of Northern Ireland and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service arrived and put out the flames.

No injuries took place. The vehicles suffered substantial damage.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland considers the fire a deliberate act. The investigation continues.

Two fire appliances from Armagh Fire Station and one from Keady Fire Station reached the scene at 4.12am. Firefighters used breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets, and one jet. They departed at 5.43am.

Killylea Road saw a brief closure during the emergency response.
