Firefighters Tackle House, Lorry and Vehicle Fires During Busy Night
Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service crews tackled a house fire, a lorry fire, and a vehicle fire among 33 incidents during a five-hour period on Wednesday night.
The service's Regional Control Centre received 82 emergency calls between 7pm and 11:59pm on 10 June 2026.
Firefighters attended blazes in Belfast, Mallusk, Glengormley and Portadown. The incidents also included a derelict building fire and an industrial bin fire.
Personnel from fire stations in Glengormley, Westland, Springfield, Knock and Portadown extinguished the fires.
In addition to the fires, crews responded to a road traffic collision in Bangor.
The NIFRS spokesperson expressed gratitude to firefighters for their dedication and to the public for their support.
