George Remedios, an Enniskillen businessman, disclosed his Motor Neurone Disease diagnosis on social media. The condition impacts him, his partner Donna McClements, and daughters Milena and Flavia Remedios.

Remedios operates Ennis Rock, Fermanagh's sole public indoor climbing gym, which he established last year. He indicated plans to emphasize family time while maintaining the gym's operations.

He noted that the gym offers him distraction through interactions with climbers and observing their activities. Remedios expressed a desire for the facility to persist as a community asset in Enniskillen.

His daughter Milena initiated a GoFundMe campaign this week for the Motor Neurone Disease Association. She pledged to complete a 10k run and has gathered £4,232 to date.
