D Gilmore Developments Ltd has submitted plans to Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council for 78 homes in Lurgan. The site is located south east of Silverwood Avenue and north of the Belfast-to-Dublin railway line. The company, based in Lurgan, followed a pre-application event held last year.

The development proposes 38 detached houses and 40 semi-detached houses. It includes 40 three-bedroom homes and 38 four-bedroom homes. The current site is an agricultural field.

Plans provide for 74 detached garages and 219 parking spaces. Infrastructure and landscaping with hedges and planting are included, along with open space.

A children's play area is part of the proposal. The application will be advertised shortly.
