The Mohan family donated £2,500 to Marie Curie and the Motor Neuron Disease Association from proceeds of John Mohan's book 'All Roads Lead to Mohan’s of Follom'.

John Mohan died in March last year at age 88. He wrote the book after retiring from the family shop in Follom.

Over 350 people attended the book launch in Aghadrumsee. The event raised £5,000 total from sales and donations.

The donation took place recently to mark the first anniversary of John Mohan's death. The family stated they honored his wishes by splitting the funds between the two charities.

They thanked St Macartan’s Primary School for hosting the launch and acknowledged support from family, friends, local schools, and businesses in south east Fermanagh.

Roberta Malone of Fermanagh Friends of Marie Curie said the funds will support nursing care in the community.

Richard Shackleford, MND Association Relationship Fundraiser for the Devolved Nations, said the donation helps care for people affected by the disease.
