Emergency services attended a three-vehicle road traffic collision on the M2 motorway in the Greencastle area on Wednesday, March 4. The incident took place on the city-bound carriageway between Bellevue and Arthur Bridge.

Police confirmed officers were at the scene. The Northern Ireland Ambulance Service received a 999 call at 07:46 reporting the collision in the M2 area.

Ambulance staff dispatched one emergency ambulance. Crews assessed and treated one person at the scene before transporting them by ambulance to Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast.

The vehicles involved were later moved to the hard shoulder. Traffic in the area was busy following the incident, which has since been cleared.
