The Big Spring Clean 2026 will take place across Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough during March and April.

Live Here Love Here organises the campaign with support from Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council. Local schools, sports clubs, community groups and church groups plan to participate in litter pick events.

Families and friends can arrange their own clean-up activities as part of the initiative. The council supplies litter pickers, gloves, bags and high-visibility vests to participants.

Organisers may place collected waste in household bins. They can also contact council depots to schedule collections in advance.

The council will publicise fixed penalty fines of £120 for littering and £400 for fly-tipping during the campaign, along with options for legal proceedings.
