The Police Service of Northern Ireland warned of traffic delays in East Belfast and Belfast city centre on Saturday, February 28. The annual UDR2 Memorial Parade will cause the disruptions.

The parade begins at 10.20am from Pottinger Street. It follows Beersbridge Road, Templemore Avenue, Epworth Street, Lord Street, Thorndyke Street, and returns briefly to Templemore Avenue. The route continues along Newtownards Road, Bridge End, Ann Street, Victoria Street, High Street, Castle Place, and ends at Royal Avenue.

Participants halt at Royal Avenue at 11.30am.

The return leg starts from Royal Avenue at 12.00pm. It traces Royal Avenue, Castle Place, High Street, Victoria Street, Queens Square, Donegall Quay, QE2 Bridge, Middlepath Street, Newtownards Road, Templemore Avenue, Beersbridge Road, and Pottinger Street. The event concludes around 12.40pm at Pottinger Street junction.

Police will oversee traffic flow and safety. Drivers should select other paths to bypass holdups.
