Belfast city centre faces significant traffic diversions and road closures on 17 March for St Patrick's Day events. Authorities advise planning journeys ahead and allowing extra travel time.

The SPAR Craic 10K race, organised by Aisling Events, starts from City Hall at 9am and finishes at Ormeau Park. Delays and diversions occur from around 8am to 11am along the city centre, Falls Road, Stranmillis Embankment, and Ormeau Road.

Belfast City Council St Patrick's Day parade departs City Hall at 1.30pm. It follows a route through Chichester Street, Victoria Street, High Street, Castle Place, and Donegall Place. Rolling diversions run from 12.30pm to 3.30pm in areas including Donegall Square West, College Square East, Wellington Place, High Street, Castle Place, Royal Avenue, Donegall Place, Victoria Street, Bridge Street, Chichester Street, Ann Street, Upper Arthur Street, Skipper Street, and Seymour Street.

Road closures from 12.30pm to 6pm support the St Patrick's Music Festival in the Cathedral Quarter. Affected streets include parts of Donegall Street, Exchange Street West, Academy Street, and Curtis Street.
