Beechmount Parade in West Belfast will close for the first week of March to facilitate filming of series 4 of the BBC drama Blue Lights.

The closure operates from 7am to 9pm daily, Monday March 2 to Friday March 6, starting at the junction with Beechmount Avenue. Filming activities also involve Beechmount Drive from the junction of Falls Road to the junction of Clowney Street.

A location manager for Two Cities Television and Gallagher Films informed residents via letter. The closure received council approval, according to Councillor Ciaran Beattie, who shared the details on social media.

The letter states that traffic controls reduce overnight after daily filming, but the closure on Beechmount Drive remains in place overnight due to continuity needs. Residents and visitors retain property access, though delays may occur during filming hours.

Production staff will be on site to provide assistance and guidance. The company apologises for disruptions and requests cooperation.
