Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council has announced a dredge and beach replenishment scheme at Ballintoy Harbour.

The works are scheduled to occur between March 2, 2026, and March 22, 2026. They will involve a land-based dredge operation within areas of the Harbour Road car park in Ballintoy.

During the work period, a number of parking bays in the car park will be unavailable to the public at certain times.

The council has planned the project over a three-week window to minimize disruption to parking facilities.

The council expressed apologies for any inconvenience caused by the works.
