Aghadowey Oval will stage the 1400 Stock Cars British Championship for the first time on Saturday, 10 October 2026. The event starts at 5pm to accommodate a programme that also includes the Ninja Karts Irish Championship.

More than 30 cars from across the UK are entered for the British Championship. The field includes World Champion Jimmy Morris from London, who won the title at King's Lynn in August, and local driver Curtis Greer from Cullybackey, a former World Champion and current Northern Ireland Points Champion.

Defending British Champion Gary Nicholls leads the Scottish entrants, who also include Scottish Points Champion Joshua Machin, Scottish Champion Fraser Clark, Charlie Henry, Brant West, Dale Sutherland, and Ally Strachan.

The English challenge features National Champion Korben Quinn, English Champion Joe Giles, former World Champion Jacob Bromley, Dan Santry, Charlie Terry-Brand, and Luke Gordon.

Other Northern Ireland drivers on the grid are Irish Champion William Taggart from Bushmills, recent Aghadowey winner Joshua McKinstry, Graham Meek from Lurgan, Gary Freeburn from Ballymena, Curtis McConkey, Matthew Weir, Fionn Donnelly, and Michael Logan.

The Ninja Karts Irish Championship for racers aged 6 to 11 will be decided on the same night. Northern Ireland Points Champion Ollie Williamson starts on pole position, with defending champion Jack Murphy alongside on the front row. Other contenders include Harry Hoy, Jordan Davis, Eddie Fowler, and Luke Grattan.

Support races will be held for Superstox, Stock Rods, and Thunder Rods.
