Callum Devine leads Irish Tarmac Championship ahead of Donegal Rally
Callum Devine, from Claudy in County Londonderry, holds a seven-point lead in the NAPA Auto Parts Irish Tarmac Rally Championship as it moves to the Wilton Recycling Donegal International Rally this weekend.
The three-day event, based in Letterkenny, County Donegal, runs from Friday 19 June to Sunday 21 June. Devine, the reigning champion, will drive alongside co-driver Noel O’Sullivan on stages close to his home.
Dungannon’s Kris Meeke, a five-time World Rally Championship event winner, has also entered in a Toyota Yaris Rally2 with co-driver Liam Regan. Meeke’s presence adds significant experience to the field.
Three other crews - Josh Moffett, Eddie Doherty, and David Kelly - are within 13 points of Devine in the overall standings, ensuring a close contest over the demanding Donegal stages.
