Police are appealing for information after two cars were deliberately set on fire in separate incidents in Northern Ireland on Sunday night.

In Antrim, a suspected petrol bomb attack on a vehicle in the Barra Street area was reported shortly before midnight. Officers and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service crews attended and extinguished the blaze. The car sustained extensive damage but no injuries were reported.

The suspect is believed to have been wearing dark clothing and a face covering, and fled on foot toward Durnish Road.

In Enniskillen, police received a report of a car on fire outside a house in the Rossole Heights area at around 1am on Sunday. Fire service personnel extinguished the fire. The vehicle was extensively damaged but there were no reports of injuries.

Police are treating both incidents as deliberate ignition. A police sergeant described the Enniskillen fire as a reckless act and said enquiries are ongoing.
