An industrial tribunal in Belfast has ordered Ballycastle Climbing Frames NI Limited to pay former employee Victoria McKeeman a total of £1,293.75 in unpaid wages and holiday pay.

The tribunal, sitting on 3 September 2026, found that Ms McKeeman's claim for unlawful deduction from wages was well-founded, awarding her £1,156.25 gross for unpaid wages. Her claim for holiday pay outstanding at the termination of her employment was also upheld, with an award of £137.50.

A third claim, alleging failure to provide a written statement of particulars, was dismissed.

The respondent company did not attend the hearing and was not represented. Ms McKeeman represented herself.

The judgment was delivered orally by Employment Judge O'Neill at the end of the hearing, with reasons given at that time. Written reasons will only be provided if requested by a party within 14 days of the judgment being issued.

The award is subject to the Industrial Tribunals (Interest) Order (Northern Ireland) 1990.

The judgment was issued to the parties on 4 September 2026 and will be entered in the tribunal register within 21 days.
