A burglary at a house in the Stockman's Lane area of south Belfast on Monday evening has prompted a police appeal for witnesses.

The break-in took place on 24 August, sometime between 5pm and 10pm. Entry was forced to the property, and the rooms inside were ransacked. A quantity of jewellery was reported stolen.

Detective Sergeant Long is leading the investigation and has asked anyone with information to come forward. The PSNI reference number is 1719 of 24/08/26.
