Burglary Hits Belfast City Centre Bar The John Hewitt
Police in Northern Ireland are investigating a burglary at The John Hewitt bar in Belfast City Centre. The incident occurred on Tuesday, March 10. A member of the public reported a smashed window at the premises in the Cathedral Quarter area.
Officers confirmed the break-in involved the theft of electronic items and bottles of spirits. The PSNI has asked anyone with information to contact them on 101, quoting reference 58 of 10/03/26. Reports can also be made online or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
Bar staff announced that the damage will prevent live music events on Wednesday and Thursday. They plan to assess the situation and provide updates for Friday and Saturday shows.
