A Northern Ireland pharmacy chain has donated £1,508 to the Alzheimer's Society.

Corry's Chemist, which operates branches in Enniskillen, Castlederg, Gortin, and Wirral, raised the funds as part of a campaign marking its 20th year in business.

The sum was presented by a staff member who has been with the company for ten years to John Hall, a volunteer with the Alzheimer's Society.

The donation formed part of a wider fundraising effort that generated a total of £4,574 for three charities.
