A charity breakfast at Cherrytree Home Bakery in Lisnaskea raised £3,500 for Alzheimer’s Research UK. The event took place on Saturday.

The bakery reported a strong turnout for the occasion. An initial count from the day totalled £3,500. Donations continued to arrive in the week after the event.

The bakery plans to keep accepting contributions until the end of the week. A final total will follow early next week.

The business thanked the local community for its support. Staff noted the cause holds personal significance.
