A competition offering up to £6,000 in investment is returning to Fermanagh for early-stage businesses.

Go Succeed: The Ultimate Pitch is open to pre-trading enterprises and businesses operating for less than two years, across all sectors. Hopefuls will present their ideas to a judging panel at a local heat in the Fermanagh and Omagh District Council area this autumn.

Heat winners receive £1,000, with a further £5,000 awarded to the overall winner at the final. Last year’s local winner was Dianne Reilly of Endovia, who secured a final spot with a tool for diagnosing endometriosis.

Fermanagh and Omagh District Council chair Councillor Debbie Coyle stated that the council is proud to support entrepreneurial talent through the Go Succeed service. She noted that the competition has helped participants build confidence, refine ideas, strengthen pitching skills, and connect with other entrepreneurs.

Applications close on 17 August, and pitching masterclasses will be held ahead of the local heats. The final takes place at Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Bellaghy on Wednesday 18 November, during Global Entrepreneurship Week.
