Two recovery vehicles destroyed in Portadown arson
Police are investigating an arson attack that destroyed two recovery vehicles at a yard in Portadown on Saturday night.
The incident was reported at around 10.20pm on 1 August. Officers and Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service crews attended the scene and extinguished the blaze. Both vehicles were completely burnt out.
Investigators have confirmed the fire was started deliberately. Two men wearing dark clothing and face coverings were seen in the area at the time.
Local policing Sergeant Bigger has appealed for anyone who noticed suspicious activity to contact police on 101, quoting reference 1688 01/08/26. Officers are particularly keen to receive dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from the vicinity.
