Glenarm began their 2026 Intermediate Championship campaign with a comprehensive 3-21 to 0-14 win over St Paul's at Shaw's Road on Friday evening.

Midfielder Aiden Scullion scored a goal in each half to lead the scoring for the visitors, while Darren Hamill finished with eight points, six from frees. Sean O'Boyle added a goal and a point as Glenarm controlled the contest from the opening exchanges.

St Paul's relied heavily on Caolán Ó Duibhfinn, who contributed nine points, including three frees. Sean Óg McLaren added four points for the city side.

Glenarm established a firm grip when Scullion found the net in the fifth minute, and further points from Hamill and Liam O'Neill pushed them into an eight-point lead at the interval.

Despite a bright start to the second half by St Paul's, a spell of wides undermined their momentum. Ó Duibhfinn came close to a goal but his effort went over the bar.

Sean O'Boyle's low driven shot to the net extended Glenarm's advantage, and Scullion completed his brace late on when he reacted quickest to a loose ball in the square.

Stephen Rooney, the recently retired Antrim player, got on the scoresheet for St Paul's with a late point, but the outcome was long decided. Referee Kevin Parke called time on a dominant Glenarm display.
