St Brigid's ended Dunloy's reign as Antrim senior football champions on Sunday with a 0-17 to 0-8 semi-final win at Dunsilly.

The sides were level at 0-5 each at half-time, but St Brigid's dominated the second half to secure a first senior final appearance in the club's 28-year history.

JJ Higgins led the scoring for St Brigid's with six points, while Niall Duffy added three and Joseph Finnegan, James Smith and Paul Bradley each contributed two. Joe Logan came off the bench to score.

For Dunloy, Conal Cunning and Seaan Elliott each scored three points, with Eoin McFerran and Keelan Molloy also on target.

St Brigid's built a five-point lead early in the second half and closed out the game to set up a final meeting with Rossa.

Dunloy, who won the title last year, will now turn their attention to a hurling championship semi-final against Glenariffe.
