Resurfacing Work to Begin on Tattymoyle Road in Fintona
A £175,000 carriageway resurfacing project on the B0080 Tattymoyle Road in Fintona is set to begin on Monday 27 July 2026.
The work will cover a stretch of approximately 545 metres between the C660 Rahony Road junction and the C661 Moneygar Road junction.
Infrastructure Minister Liz Kimmins said the investment on the Fintona to Tempo route would bring significant benefits to residents and road users. She noted it showed a commitment to improving the rural road network, which connects businesses and communities.
To carry out the work safely, the Tattymoyle Road will be closed from the Clabby Road to the Ecclesville Road. A signed diversion will direct traffic via Clabby Road, Edfield Way in Fivemiletown, Murley Road, Ecclesville Road, and Kiln Street, and the reverse for opposite journeys.
The Department for Infrastructure said the schedule was designed to minimise disruption, but road users should expect delays and allow extra time for journeys. Local access will be accommodated where possible.
Subject to suitable weather conditions, the project is expected to be substantially finished by Saturday 1 August 2026. Updates will be provided through Trafficwatch NI.
